Our re-opening dates confirmed – Booking Available
Al Fresco dining and drinking on our sun-drenched () front terrace from 12th April (takeaway and collection also available)
Full indoor re-opening from 17th May (restrictions apply for indoor bookings)
‘Restriction-free’ from 21st June (subject to government announcements)
We are delighted to be able to start preparations for re-opening and can’t wait to welcome you all back to Jenkins & Sons, Penn Hill.
Due to the re-opening roadmap published by the Government, we can’t serve indoors until 17th May. However, we’re very lucky to have our front terrace area, with additional seating, available from 12th April for outdoor bookings. We have 4 eco-efficient heaters covering the main terrace area and you are welcome to bring your own blanket or just wrap up warm if it’s cold. We’re hoping for some beautiful weather – especially as our terrace gets the late afternoon and early evening sun! Bookings are available for this but only 4 of the tables can be booked. These are the four tables covered by our awnings – so these are good in most weathers. We will still have all tables out, so as long as the weather is good, just come along and join us. We’ve got seats for about 35-40 people. We will be running a slightly reduced ‘Terrace Menu’ while we can only serve outdoors. Once we can open indoors our full menu will be available.
Takeaway and collection will also be available from April 12th.
We have many exciting plans for the remainder of the year, including a ‘menu update’ with many new dishes, as well as all of our popular dishes from the last two years. As always, we intend to screen any sport that is of national interest and community-building. We hope to show The Wimbledon Championships, Euros football (home nations only) and the Olympics. As we have our new(ish) widescreen TV in the bar area, some of this will just be shown there so that the restaurant can remain relaxed for dining.
Bookings are now open – we can’t wait to see you!
